Ella Marion Digweed was born on the 10th July 1902 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire. Her parents were George and Adah Digweed. She married Horace Riseam in July 1931 and the couple had three children. Ella died on the 29th July 1975 in Hessle (near Hull), Yorkshire, at the age of 73.
