Pervys in Park Lane was so called after the "Two Women Of Pervys" Mairi Chisholm and Elsie Knocker later Baroness de T'Serclaes, Elsie lived in this house until her death in 26th April 1978 and named it in commemoration of her time working as an ambulance driver in Pervyse during World War One. Sadly and some would say disgracefully, it has now been renamed and the link may sadly be forgotten.
