Bridge H E Lt Canadian Infantry
Lt. Bridge was quot;wounded, unconscious and left for dead.quot; He was captured, spent 7 1/2 months in solitary confinement, had a finger amputated, had a bad wound on his nose which took several years to heal, shrapnel scars to his arms and legs, and suffered from PTSD for a while. He weighed 121 lbs when he was demobbed (meaning demobilized). Harold Edward Bridge died in British Columbia in 1967.
