Son of Robert and Frances Gwynne Eardley-Wilmot, of Preyste House, Petworth; husband of Mildred Clare Eardley-Wilmot, of Newlands, Petworth, Sussex. Severely wounded at the Battle of Ypres, April, 1915. His son Anthony Revell Eardley-Wilmot M.C. fell in the 1939-1945 War.
