I was lucky enough recently to come across an old box of slides from 1980 totally unidentified but with some interesting views. After copying them I uploaded them to a group on Flickr where people try to identify just such photos. Within weeks they were identified as views from The Castle Irwell Campus University Of Salford towards Kersal flats, all of which have been demolished, and surrounding areas. If you are local to that area or attended the university they are really worth looking at. I am so grateful to the people on Flickr for all their help.
