Kate was the wife of Arthur Chitty and she lived with him in West Lodge Ashtead Park and worked as a housemaid in Ashtead Park House. She was born in Walton On The Hill Surrey in 1879 and had three children with Arthur Doris, Rhoda and Ron. Shed died in 1915 and is buried in St Giles Churchyard Ashtead Surrey.
