Jesse Herbert Augustus Bigsby was born on the 3rd Mar 1887 in Deptford, London. He was the only son of seven children of Jessie Albert Bigsby and Anna Maria Bigsby (Nee Fischer). Jesse was a commercial traveller and lived ith his family at Rolandsick, Grove Road Sutton, Surrey. In 1931 at the age of 43 he married Maria Crawford and the couple moved to Cornwall. Jesse died at 40 Vernon Place, Falmouth, Cornwall on the 19th Oct 1961 aged 74.
