Francis (Frank) Burges Goodacre was born on the 29th May 1829 in Lutterorth Leicestershire. One of seven children of John Goodacre and Eliza Goodacre (Nee Burgess).
Rev Goodacre was rector of Wilby and Hargham in Norfolk. In 1861, at the age of 32, he married Hannah Jane Harrison the 32 year old daughter of George and Elizabeth Harrison from Great Oxendon, Northamptonshire.
Francis and Hannah had five children and Francis remained rector of Wilby and Hargham for 22 years until his death on the 14th Aug 1885 aged 56. Hannah moved to Paddington in London after her husbands death, then to 9 Garway Road Bayswater where she died on the 27th October 1911 aged 82.
